With that in mind, we only charge what we need for our services and bikes. Our pricing is competitive, and fairness runs through our entire business. We aim to provide good value to our customers while ensuring our staff earn a real living wage.

Cycle-to-work schemes are really helpful for consumers but they make business harder! Typically they take a commission of 6% to 15% from the full price of a bike.

 

To address this, we offer a discount to Cargo Bike customers who use our preferred scheme provider— Green Commute Initiative because they take lower commission. We offer an even larger discount to those who purchase directly from us, because we can afford to.

This approach allows the profits from each bike sale to cover the costs of employing our staff and keeping our workshop open and accessible to you, while still delivering great value.

 

It should be noted that we do not benefit more by selling at one price versus another. This system is simply about equality—ensuring all our customers have access to the best price possible, while still enabling us to keep our staff paid, and the lights on.
